Under normal circumstances, the bond will be held for 10 days before being returned automatically to the guest account.

However if you or the owner identify damage that will require fixing or replacement then the owner can opt to 'hold the bond'.  This action will prevent the automatic return of the bond and will hold the bond off for 14 days.  The owner will use this time to discuss the damage with you and if needed to get written quotes to repair the damage etc.  After this time if the damage has been rectified the remainder of the bond or the full amount will be refunded into your nominated account.
